Mumbai, Mar 16 : The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is looking into the issue of fake pilot licences, Air India Chairman Arvind Jadhav, today said that.
"The DGCA is looking into the matter," Jadhav told reporters on sidelines of an aviation event here.
Air India has reportedly de-rostered a pilot for allegedly submitting a forged marksheet to get his licence.
Besides, some pilots of private air-carriers have also had action taken against them and the aviation sector regulator, DGCA, is now conducting a probe into the matter.
It is reported that some officials of DGCA, past and present, are under the scanner in this matter.
The police are also investigating the matter.
