Bangalore, Apr 13 : Asserting that there was no dissidence in the Karnataka unit of BJP, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said there were no differences in party and all minor issues have been solved.
"There is no dissidence at all. Whatever minor differences are there, have been resolved," Yeddurappa told reporters here.
Yeddurappa''s statement comes in the wake of a visit by a team of rebels led by state unit BJP president K S Eswarappa to Delhi last month, demanding change in leadership of Yeddurappa who is facing allegations of corruption.
The Chief Minister said BJP general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, would be visiting the city next week and no political significance should be attached to it.
Pradhan would discuss issues concerning strengthening of the party, Yeddyurappa said.
Meanwhile, state unit BJP President K S Eswarappa met RSS leader Mangesh Bende at Hubli and held discussions.
"Eswarappa discussed issues concerning BJP and not on dissidence," Prahallad Joshi, MP told reporters.
When rebel team visited Delhi last month the BJP high command told them to work for the success of party candidates in the bypoll held on April 9 in three assembly constituencies.
The party high command had promised to look into their grievances after the elections.
Whether Congess or BJP, they are politicians & they are all corrupt. When in power, they exploit nation's wealth.
ReplyDeleteAdvaniji's yatra against corruption is indulging in cash for media coverage. Then why term it as against coppuption. The roads in M.P ruled by his party for 10 yrs are so bad that Padyatra became Helcopter yatra.
So all are rqually farce as it is the case of "Kettle calling pot black".
