The headline of this snippet is one of the very few oft-asked questions in Kollywood. And it’s now time for this buzz to pop up again, thanks to the work going on at the site allotted by the State government to construct houses for members of the film fraternity.
Apart from the residential township, state-of-the-art studios, named after veterans C N Annadurai, M G Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan are also coming up at the Paiyanur site on the Old Mahabalipuram Road.
It is expected that the inaugural function would take place soon in which ace director K Balachander would direct the first shot with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan standing in front of the camera.
Since Balachander is the mentor of both the top stars, it is said that they immediately accepted to be part of the event which would mark the auspicious start of a mega project. And the dialogues they would mouth were reportedly from none other than Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
