Lucknow, Jan 23 : Taking a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, Law and Justice Minister Salman Khurshid has said theBahujan Samaj Party (BSP) talked of being Dalit-friendly, but in reality, has done nothing for the community's betterment.
"Someone who asked for votes and came to power by using the name of Dalits is now doing nothing for them. What is shameful is that Uttar Pradesh is now called the state with the most number of rape cases," Khurshid said here.eanwhile, launching a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan said that the BJP and its leaders were always dividing the people and nothing good was expected of them.
"Such people give a bad name to our political setup. The whole country knows how guilty they are. They are enemies of humanity, brotherhood and religious unity. They only know how to shed innocents' blood. I had earlier said that crass talk would only be made by people who are crass themselves," said Khan.
Khan also took a dig at anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare and his aides and accused them of attempting to spread disorder in the country.
"This Team Anna can only spread anarchy and nothing else, and they are victims of that anarchy themselves now. They tried to spread it all over the country, tried to weaken democracy and the constitution. Important, they did not reply to any of the critical questions," added Khan.
