Lucknow, Jan 22 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here today, alleged its political opponents - Congress, Samajwadi Partyand Bahujan Samaj Party of annihilating public interest in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh.
Senior leader of BJP, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday accused the political rivals for accumulating wealth of the poor masses.
"The alliance of KASAB formed to loot the public wealth has acted as bandits and they conspired to create a dangerous mentality to completely annihilate the interests of the people of Uttar Pradesh. When I use the word KASAB, don't be surprised, KASAB is also there in Uttar Pradesh, which is, Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party," said Naqvi.
Lashing out at Congress, Naqvi said that the health mission has been transformed into a wealth mission and elections would be like an acid test.
"The most surprising fact is that the Congress Party has made the health mission into a wealth mission of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party," asserted Naqvi.
"They have looted the wealth of Uttar Pradesh like bandits and militants and have killed the interests of the people. Therefore, there is no chance of mutual understanding and it is like a dream. It is true to say that after the elections in Uttar Pradesh, there will be a drastic change in the political condition of the Centre."
"The alliance of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) would be completely wiped out. It is not necessary that the Central Government should remain in power till 2014. Uttar Pradesh electionswould be like an acid test for the government," he further added.
Elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held through a seven-phase polling in the months of February and March this year. The polls are being viewed as an opportunity for India's major parties to re-establish or strengthen their footholds in the country's fifth largest and most populous state.
