Mumbai, May 9:Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who cheered on Shah Rukh Khan''s team Kolkata Knight Riders against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL match last Saturday, believes that he proved lucky for King Khan''s team.
Hrithik had shot till 4 am for his upcoming film ''Agneepath'' the previous night but he did not want to miss the experience of watching a cricket match in a stadium for the first time.
"It was my first-ever experience of watching a live match in India. The excitement was palpable. I was here to cheer for Gauri, so was under tremendous pressure cause I promised her we would win if I came. I am glad that it turned out a happy day," said the 37-year-old actor.
He said he was happy to become the lucky mascot for Shah Rukh and Gauri that evening.
Kolkata Knight Riders beat Chennai Super Kings by ten runs under the Duckworth Lewis method.
