Jammu, May 1: Terming as "one-sided" the report on 2G scam by Public Accounts Committee chairman Murli Manohar Joshi, the Congress unit of Jammu and Kashmir today said it was not prepared with "consensus".
"The report on 2G scam should have been prepared with consensus. This was not done," JKPCC chief Saifuddin Soz told reporters on the sidelines of a May day function here.
Soz, who is also appointed as the acting chairman of PAC, said, "The report was one-sided and it has been rejected by majority of the members of the panel."
77-year-old Joshi had triggered a political storm with his draft report circulated among PAC members. 11 of the 21-member committee had rejected his report but Joshi had decided to submit it the Speaker for being tabled in Parliament.
Joshi had termed the rejection by the majority as "unconstitutional".
In the report, Joshi had indicted former telecommunication minister A Raja and criticised Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for mishandling the spectrum allocation and causing thousands of crores of losses to the national exchequer.
