Medininagar (Jharkhand), May 10 : Maoists tonight blew up the ancestral house of JMM MP Kameshwar Baitha in Palamau district. "A group of Maoists stuffed dynamite in the vacant house of Baitha before triggering the blast at Danchabar village in Bishrampur, about 55 km from here," Superintendent of Police, Anup Mathew said. He said the house was vacant and a police team was rushed to the spot. Baitha, who was arrested on charges of 50-Maoist related cases, had obtained bail from the Patna High Court on Saturday. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader had held a press conference here yesterday and demanded that the state government should empower panchayat bodies for speedy development. Baitha, who had won on JMM ticket from Palamau in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, is facing Maoist-related cases in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.
